Sophia is a Registered Osteopath and a graduate from The British School of Osteopathy. She was a prize-winner at The Annual Chiropractic, Osteopathy and Physiotherapy Conference 2008 where she presented her undergraduate paper on Low Back Pain and the NHS.
She sees the osteopath’s role as that of facilitator to healing, and at the initial consultation a patient’s individual situation including daily work/travel routine, posture, leisure pursuits and stressors are discussed.
Her treatment package, whether it is one session or more, includes manual treatment as well as bespoke advice and exercises. Her experience includes working on such areas as acute and chronic low back pain, frozen shoulder, RSI, arthritic hands, wrists, hips, knees, sports injuries, neck and shoulder pain, tension headaches and foot arch dysfunction.
