Achilles Tendinopathy (also known as Achilles tendinitis) is a condition that causes pain in the thick tendon that joins your heel bone to your calf muscles.
One of the more common causes of pain at the side of the hip is gluteal tendinopathy. (This often goes hand-in-hand with hip bursitis - you’ll know what I’m talking about if you poke the widest part of the ‘hip’ and your head hits the ceiling!)
